The gig economy can be incredibly hard to navigate for both gig workers and customers.
There are fees upon fees and you don’t really know what’s paying for your driver and what you have to spring for.
It is my mission to shed some light on the practices of some of the most popular delivery companies including Instacart, UberEats, DoorDash, Grubhub and to a degree Amazon Prime at Whole Foods.
While I try to give detailed examples drawn from my own experience and other gig workers across the US, I understand that you might have specific questions about your own situation.
I am always happy to help answer questions about this site and receive feedback.
Please keep things kind and civil as I run this site on my own time outside of my gig work.
I am also available to collaborate with companies or other gig workers that support the gig economy.
Please allow at least 72 hours for me to respond to you.
